29th May is World Digestive Health Day and this year the focus is on your diet and gut health.

Food intolerances affect up to 40% of individuals who have Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms (IBS).    It is a timely reminder too that stress can also aggravate IBS symptoms and that hypnotherapy is recommended by NICE/NHS as  a treatment for long-term IBS that has not responded to medication (NICE IBS Quick Reference Guide, Feb 2008 pg4).
