Cancellation Policy

At Summertown Clinic, we understand that life is unpredictable and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or cancelled. However, to ensure the fair treatment of both our patients and practitioners, we have the following cancellation policy in place.

 

  1. Notice Period:

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient who may be in need of treatment.

 

  1. Cancellation Fee:

For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a fee of £30 will be charged. This fee compensates our practitioners for their unrecoverable time, which was reserved for your appointment.

 

  1. Exceptions: We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances such as sudden illness or emergencies can occur. In such cases, the cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of the practitioner. Please inform us at your earliest convenience if such a situation arises.

 

  1. Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your needs, subject to the availability of our practitioners.

 

  1. Communication: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us by phone or email. This ensures we receive your message in a timely manner.

 

  1. No-Shows: Missing an appointment without any prior notification will result in the £30 cancellation fee being applied. Consistent no-shows will require a pre-payment for future bookings.
