Winner! James Ruddick wins the Institute of Osteopathy Award

Every year the Institute of Osteopathy runs it’s national awards, and this year James Ruddick was the winner of the Principal of the Year Award. Sponsored by Gilly Woodhouse from Osteobiz, the award is given to a principal osteopath by a committee that reviews nominations put forward.

James was surprised to receive an email to say that he had not just been nominated but was a finalist:

I couldn’t believe it, I certainly didn’t expect to be nominated by my associates -I feel very honoured, and to be a finalist is just brilliant.

The awards were presented by Maurice Cheng the CEO of the Institute of Osteopathy, and Robin Lansman the outgoing President at the Gala dinner attended by several hundred osteopaths. Summertown Clinic has had a great run at the same awards in 2015 Joel Redman won the associate of the year, and David Ruddick was finalist in the Principal of the Year award, in 2016 Atlanta Kyte was highly commended as associate of the year, and Summertown Clinic was a highly commended finalist as Practice of the year. These awards together with the CAM Expo Clinic of the Year award in 2014, the WhatClinic Customer Service awards, and Muddy Stilletto awards reflect our motivation to be the best clinic we can.
